Siddhesh Lad
Siddhesh Dinesh Lad (born 23 May 1992) is a cricketer who plays for Goa in Indian domestic cricket. He is a right-hand batsman and occasional right arm off break bowler. Lad was the captain of the Western Wolves team in the Toyota University Cricket Championship (UCC). His father, Dinesh Lad, is the coach of Indian international batsman Rohit Sharma. In the 2015 Indian Premier League, he was selected to play for the Mumbai Indians. In January 2018, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians in the 2018 IPL auction. On 10 April 2019, he finally made IPL debut for Mumbai Indians against Kings XI Punjab in 2019 Indian Premier League replacing the injured Rohit Sharma. He hit a six off the first ball he faced in his IPL career scoring 15 runs in the match before being dismissed. 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy
The 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 18th season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a List A cricket tournament in India. It took place in September and October 2019, after the Duleep Trophy and before the Ranji Trophy. Chandigarh competed in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the first time. Mumbai were the defending champions. Seventeen out of the first thirty matches that were scheduled to be played across all four groups were abandoned or finished in a no result. Therefore, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a revised schedule for the rain-affected matches. 2017–18 Ranji Trophy
The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between October 2017 and January 2018. Vidarbha won the tournament, beating Delhi by 9 wickets in the final, to win their first Ranji Trophy title. Vidarbha made their Ranji Trophy debut in the 1957–58 season, making it the third-longest wait before a team won their maiden title. Chorley Cricket Club
Chorley Cricket Club is an English cricket club based in Chorley, Lancashire, playing their home matches at Windsor Park. The club's first team compete in the ECB Northern Premier Cricket League, while the Second, Third and Sunday development teams take part in the more locally based Palace Shield along with all Junior teams from a large and healthy juniour section. The club gained prominence nationally in the 1990s when Chorley the final of the Abbot Ale ECB National Club Cricket Championship at Lords in 1994, 1995 and 1996. Chorley won the trophy beating Ealing in '94 and Clifton Bourton in '95 whilst losing to Walsall in the '96 final. The 2019–20 Duleep Trophy was the 58th season of the Duleep Trophy, a first-class cricket tournament in India. It took place in August and September 2019, starting the 2019–20 domestic cricket season in India. India Blue were the defending champions. Unlike the previous three seasons, the tournament was played as day games, played with a red ball. The final was initially announced as a day/night match with the pink ball. However, the final was changed and was played as a day game. The change was attributed due to players' preference. The 2018–19 Ranji Trophy was the 85th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between November 2018 and February 2019.
