Shōta Chida
is a Japanese professional shogi player, ranked 7-dan. Chida is known for his novel research into shogi opening theory using computer shogi engines. Early life Shōta Chida was born on April 10, 1994, in Minoh, Osaka. He learned how to play shogi from an elementary school student living in the same neighborhood when he was five years old. In September 2006, Chida was accepted into the Japanese Shogi Association's apprentice school at the rank of 6-kyū as student of shogi professional , and was promoted to the rank of 3-dan in April 2010. Shōta Iizuka
is a Japanese sprinter who specializes in the 200 metres. Iizuka started to compete in track and field after winning a local 100 metre competition when he was in third grade; the coach of a local club scouted his performance in this race and brought him to join his track and field club. He attended Fujieda Meisei High School and then Chuo University, where he studied law. At the 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics, Iizuka won the 200 metres title with a time of 20.67 seconds, making him the first Japanese male sprinter to win a medal in the event.
