Shyama Anandan
Shayama Ananda ( Sinhala:ශ්යාමා ආනන්ද), popularly known as Shayama Ananda, is an actress in Sri Lankan Sinhala cinema. Personal life Shayama was born on 24 December in Colombo as the elder daughter. Her father M. S. Ananda was a renowned cinematographer, director and producer. Her mother Violet Ananda was also a film producer. She started her education at the Buddhist Ladies' College Colombo and joined St Bridget's Convent, Colombo and finished her higher studies at Visakha Vidyalaya. Her father died on 26 June 2016 at the age of 83. Shayama has one younger sister. She married Saliya Perera, Captain of the Thurstan College Cricket team on 15 December 1980. Sumitra Peries
Kala Keerthi Sumitra Peries (born 24 March 1934) is the first Sri Lankan female filmmaker and is known by all as the "Poetess of Sinhala Cinema". She also held the post of Sri Lanka's ambassador to France, Spain and the United Nations in the late 1990s. ''Gehenu Lamai'' ( si, ගැහැණු ළමයි English : Girls) is a 1978 Sri Lankan Sinhala teenage drama film directed by Sumitra Peries and produced by her husband Lester James Peries for Lster Films. Kala Keerthi Sembuge Gamini Shelton Fonseka () (21 March 1936 - 30 September 2004 as ගාමිණී ෆොන්සේකා), was a Sri Lankan film actor, film director and politician.
