Shukry Sarhan
Mohamed Shoukry El Husseiny Sarhan (1925–1997, ar, محمد شُكري الحسيني سرحان, Muḥammad Shukrī al-Ḥusaynī Sirḥān), better known as Shoukry Sarhan ( ar, شُكري سرحان, Shukrī Sirḥān), was an Egyptian actor. He is regarded as one of the greatest Egyptian actors of all time. Life and career Sarhan was born in El Sharqiya, Egypt on 12 March 1925. He graduated from the "High Institute of Acting in Egypt" in 1947. In 1949, Sarhan acted in his first movie, ''Lahalibo'' (لهاليبو, "Lahaleebo"). His rise to stardom was in 1951 when Youssef Chahine, a famous Egyptian film director, chose him for the lead role in the movie '' Son of the Nile'' (ابن النيل, "''Ibn El-Nil''"). In 1957, he starred in Ezz El-Dine Zulficar's ''Back Again'' (رد قلبي, "''Rodda Qalbi''"). Mahmoud Zulfikar
Mahmoud Qasdy Ahmed Mourad Zulfikar (18 February 1914 – 22 May 1970) was an Egyptians, Egyptian film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. He started his career as an architect, before becoming an actor in 1939. He was a major figure in Cinema of Egypt, Egyptian film industry. Zulfikar was one of the most prominent artists in the Egyptian cinema, he was known for his boldness and adventure with the new talents he presented to the Egyptian audience, later, he was nicknamed the "Talent Finder". Zulfikar was able to go beyond the limits of the film location with accurate calculations and through his imaginations, he could make his scripts alive. Top 100 Egyptian films aliases: CIFF 100 Egyptian films or Greatest 100 Egyptian films in 20th century or Top 100 films in the centenary of Egyptian cinema (Egyptian Arabic: قائمة أفضل مئة فيلم في مئوية السينما المصرية) is the result of a referendum in which many Egyptian critics participated in 1996 to choose the 100 best Egyptian films of the 20th century, as part of the activities of the Cairo International Film Festival in its 20th edition, on the occasion of the centenary of Egyptian cinema, which coincides with the first film screening in Egypt in 1896. The films were selected from 1927 (where ''Layla'' was shown, the first Egyptian feature-length film) until 1996, and were announced during the celebration that was held in 1996. Henry Antoun Barakat ( ar, هنري أنطون بركات, 11 June 1914, Cairo – 27 May 1997, Cairo) was a well known Egyptian film director. He was born in Shubra to a Melkite Greek Catholic father of Syro-Lebanese descent, and a Syro-Lebanese mother. Faten Hamama
Faten Ahmed Hamama ( ar, فاتن حمامه ; 27 May 1931 – 17 January 2015) was an Egyptian film and television actress and film producer. She was the first wife of Ezz El-Dine Zulficar. She made her screen debut in 1939, when she was only seven years old. Her earliest roles were minor, but her activity and gradual success helped to establish her as a distinguished Egyptian actress. Later revered as an icon in Egyptian cinema. In 1996, nine of the films she starred in were included in the Top hundred films in the history of Egyptian cinema by the cinema critics of Cairo International Film Festival. Gamal Abdel Nasser Hussein, . (15 January 1918 – 28 September 1970) was an Egyptian politician who served as the second president of Egypt from 1954 until his death in 1970. The Unknown Woman (aliases: The Anonymous Woman, arz, المرأة المجهولة, al-marʾa al-majhūla, El-Mara'a el-Maghola, Al-Murra Al-Maghoola, El murra el maghoula) is a 1959 Egyptian film written and directed by Mahmoud Zulfikar. It is based on the play ''Madame X''. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Shadia, Shoukry Sarhan, Kamal El-Shennawi, Emad Hamdy and Zahrat El-Ola. It was the highest-grossing film in the Soviet Union for 1961, the only African film to ever achieve that. Plot Fatima marries Dr. Ahmed and they give birth to Samir. She goes to visit her friend Souad, the police attack the place because it is suspicious and arrest everyone, including Fatima, she gets released but Ahmed divorces her. Fatima is forced to work as a singer in a Cabaret, the thug Abbas asks Fatima for a sum of money (a royalty) in order to protect her.
