''Shubhodrishti'' (Bengali: শুভদৃষ্টি) is a 2005 Bengali romance film directed by Prabhat Roy and produced under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. The film features popular Bengali actors Jeet and Koel Mallick in the lead roles. Jeet Gannguli composed the music for the film. It was the 5th consecutive film of Jeet and Koel Mallick together. This film attracted huge positive responses from the audiences around West Bengal. The film was Superhit at box office as it clearly portrayed Bengali culture and traditions and given a lucid image how Bengali weddings take place. Koel Mallick (born Rukmini Mallick on 28 April 1982) is an Indian actress who appears in Bengali films. She is the daughter of actor Ranjit Mallick and Deepa Mallick. She made her film debut in ''Nater Guru'' (2003). Jeet Gannguli (, born Chandrajeet Ganguly, on 24 May 1977), is an Indian score composer of Bengali and Hindi movies. Early life and education Born in a Bengali Brahmin family, Gannguli was initiated into the world of music at the age of three. He was a student of Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School from where he completed his schooling. Later he graduated from the University of Calcutta.
