Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering (SSGMCE) is an engineering college at Shegaon in Buldhana District of Maharashtra, India. It is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. SSGMCE was established on 23 August 1983 by Shri Gajanan Shikshan Sanstha, Shegaon. It is run by ''Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Temple Trust''. The college grants Bachelor's & Master's degrees in engineering (BE & ME) in mechanical, electronics & telecommunication, computer science and engineering, and information technology. It also offers programs of Masters in Business Administration (MBA). It had a total enrollment of around 1,600 students in the academic year of 2017–2018. Shegaon is a city and municipal council in the Buldhana district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Shegaon has become a pilgrimage centre due to the influence of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj, who is considered a saint by Hindus. Transportation Shegaon is located west of Nagpur and east of Mumbai. Indian Academy Of Sciences
The Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore was founded by Indian Physicist and Nobel Laureate C. V. Raman, and was registered as a society on 24 April 1934. Inaugurated on 31 July 1934, it began with 65 founding fellows. The first general meeting of Fellows, held on the same day, elected Raman as president, and adopted the constitution of the Academy.
