"Shower" is a song by American singer Becky G. It was released on April 23, 2014, by Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. The song was written by Dr. Luke, Cirkut, and Rock City and it was produced by the former two. Its music video was released on June 30, 2014. "Shower" was Becky G's only top 20 hit in the United States until "Mamiii" in 2022. The song is certified multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 2 million copies in the country. The official remix features American rapper Tyga. Background and release "Shower" was released for retail via digital distribution on April 23, 2014. The audio for the song was also uploaded to YouTube and VEVO on the same day of its release. She first gained recognition in 2011 when she began posting videos of herself covering popular songs online.
