Shovel Buddies
''Shovel Buddies'' is a 2016 American drama film written by Jason Mark Hellerman, directed by Simon Atkinson and Adam Townley. It stars Alex Neustaedter, Kian Lawley, Bella Thorne and Anton Starkman. The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 14, 2016. The film was released through video on demand on October 11, 2016, by Awesomeness Films and 20th Century Fox. Matthew Kaplan (14 April 1984) better known as Matt Kaplan is an American film producer and businessman. He is known for producing young adult films, including ''To All the Boys'' film series. He is the founder and CEO of Ace Entertainment and former president of Awesomeness Films. Biography Kaplan graduated from Columbia University, where he was a quarterback on the Columbia Lions football team.
