''Shout to the Lord 2000'' is a live praise and worship album of contemporary worship music by Hillsong. The album appeared on the ''Billboard'' 200 and reached No. 8 on the Top Contemporary Christian Albums Chart. Making of the album ''Shout to the Lord 2000'' was recorded live at the 1998 Hillsong Conference by Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong team. Ron Kenoly and Alvin Slaughter also appear on this album. It was recorded at the State Sports Centre as well. Hillsong Music is Christian music produced by Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia as well as offshoot churches, Hillsong London, and Hillsong Kiev. Hillsong albums are released and distributed by Hillsong Music. The main groups are Hillsong Worship, Hillsong United, Hillsong Young & Free, and Hillsong Kids. History Hillsong Church's popularity in Christian praise and worship music stems from the inauguration of the Hillsong Conference in 1986 and the first publication of choruses written by Hills CLC members, especially Darlene Zschech. Alvin Slaughter
Alvin Martin Slaughter (born July 17, 1955) is an American gospel musician, worship leader, and singer-songwriter. Slaughter is based out of New York City, where he was a member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir until the early 1990s, when he was signed by Integrity Music and began his solo career. He has been nominated for several Dove Awards and performed on the TBN television network. He is married to Joy Slaughter, where they together reside in New York. Slaughter is no longer signed to Integrity Music and hasn't released any official music since 2008. Alvin continues to travel and perform Christian Concerts with his wife sharing from her experiences as a former Missionary to Haiti, and life experiences. The Lisa Young Quartet is a jazz-world music quartet from Melbourne, Australia, led by a vocal artist and composer Lisa Young. Background The LYQ quartet is composed of Young, Stephen Magnusson (guitar), Ben Robertson (double bass) and Dave Beck (drums). Trumpet
The trumpet is a brass instrument commonly used in classical and jazz ensembles. Timpani
Timpani (; ) or kettledrums (also informally called timps) are musical instruments in the percussion family. A type of drum categorised as a hemispherical drum, they consist of a membrane called a head stretched over a large bowl traditionally made of copper. Saxophone

Shout To The Lord
"Shout to the Lord" is a praise and worship song written by Christian worship leader Darlene Zschech in 1993. A popular worship power ballad, it was published by Hillsong Music Australia. On 9 April 2008, "Shout to the Lord" was the closing song on '' Idol Gives Back'', sung by the remaining eight contestants of ''American Idol'' and a gospel choir. The lyrics of the song were altered, changing the word "Jesus" to "Shepherd" in the first line, without the approval of Zschech or Hillsong Church. At the request of the song's publishers, the song was performed again at the opening of the next show the following night, this time using the original lyrics. The studio version of the performance charted at number 43 in the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, based on digital download sales alone. Mark Stevens is an Australian singer, songwriter, actor and worship leader. Stevens began his career after a winning a talent contest in his birth place, Hobart. His win attracted the attention the producer of Network 10's musical variety show ''Young Talent Time''. Stevens was invited to join the cast and his family relocated to Melbourne to facilitate his career.
