''Shoulda Been There, Pt. 1'' is the second extended play (EP) by American recording artist Sevyn Streeter. It was released on July 17, 2015 through Atlantic Records in collaboration with CBE. Collaborations feature Chris Brown, Hit-Boy and B.o.B. The extended play was preceded by two singles "Don't Kill the Fun" and "Shoulda Been There". Shoulda Been There, Pt. 1 debuted at number 4 on the US R&B Albums chart and number 15 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Da Internz are a production team originating from Chicago, Illinois. The duo is composed of Marcos " Kosine" Palacios and Ernest Tuo Clark. Da Internz describe their sound as "gourmet ratchet", meaning imperfect but excellent. Background Both men state that they were born to make music. Marcos’ mother put him in piano at six years old. He picked up the saxophone in 5th grade and then the drums in 8th. This duo is from Chicago but is currently based out of Los Angeles, California. Andrew Gerard Hill (born 1957 in Bracknell, Berkshire, England) is an English record producer and songwriter who worked with Bucks Fizz and Celine Dion during the 1980s and 1990s. The Howard Theatre is a historic theater, located at 620 T Street, Northwest, Washington, D.C. Opened in 1910, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. In its heyday, the theater was known for catering to an African-American clientele, and had played host to many of the great Black musical artists of the early and mid-twentieth century.
