Shoresy
''Shoresy'' is a Canadian television comedy series created by and starring Jared Keeso that premiered on Crave on May 13, 2022. A spinoff of ''Letterkenny'', the series focuses on the titular character of Shoresy (Keeso) as he moves to Sudbury to take a role with a struggling Triple A-level ice hockey team, the Sudbury Bulldogs. In the United States, the series premiered on Hulu on May 27, 2022. A second season was announced in January 2023 which is set to premiere later in the year. Plot After losing 20 straight games and running dead last in the four-team Triple A-level Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (NOSHO), the Sudbury Bulldogs are faced with being completely shut down. Veteran player Shore ("Shoresy") in an attempt to save the team makes a bet with team general manager that the team will never lose again if he's given a chance to take control. ''Letterkenny'' is a Canadian sitcom created by Jared Keeso, developed and written primarily by Keeso and Jacob Tierney, directed by Tierney, and starring Keeso, Nathan Dales, Michelle Mylett, and K. Trevor Wilson. Originally a YouTube web series called ''Letterkenny Problems'', the show was commissioned for television by Crave in March 2015 and premiered in February 2016. The show follows the adventures of people residing in the fictional town of Letterkenny, a rural community in Ontario, Canada. ''Letterkenny'' is distributed by Hulu in the United States, with the first two seasons debuting in July 2018. Subsequent seasons were added on December 27, 2018. Jared Keeso ( ; born July 1, 1984) is a Canadian actor, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for creating and starring in the comedy series '' Letterkenny'' (2016–present), which won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy Series in 2017. He is also known for his roles as Ben Chartier in the 2014 series '' 19-2'' (2014–2017), for which he won a Canadian Screen Award, and Don Cherry in the television films '' Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story'' (2010) and '' The Wrath of Grapes: The Don Cherry Story II'' (2012), for which he won a Leo Award and Gemini Award. Jordan Nolan
Jordan Nolan (born June 23, 1989) is a Canadian actor and former professional ice hockey forward. He was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the seventh round (186th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Nolan won the Stanley Cup twice with the Kings in 2012 and 2014. Playing career Junior Nolan began his career with the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in 2005–06, scoring just three goals in 33 games. He then spent two seasons with the Windsor Spitfires from 2006-2008, followed by two seasons with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds from 2008-2010. Jon Mirasty
Jonathon Gary Frank Mirasty (born June 4, 1982) is a Cree native Canadian ice hockey player who has played in multiple professional leagues including the WHL, KHL, and AHL. Nicknamed "Nasty" by both teammates and fans, Mirasty developed a cult following throughout his career due to his Mohawk hairstyle and his laughing during his fights. Mirasty finished the 2010-11 regular season with the Fort Wayne Komets. However, he was left off the playoff roster. Mirasty, who weighs 220 pounds and stands five-foot-ten, had originally planned on retiring from hockey in 2006. Terrence William James Ryan (born January 14, 1977) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and actor. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens eighth overall in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft and played eight games with the organization between 1996 and 1999. Early life Raised in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Ryan started playing sports at an early age. Brandon Nolan (born July 18, 1983) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who is a member of the Ojibway group of Indigenous Peoples from the Garden River First Nations in Northern Ontario.
