Shoot Boxing – S-Cup 1996
''Shoot Boxing – S-Cup 1996'' was a shoot boxing event promoted by Caesar Takeshi. It was a qualifier for the Shoot Boxing World Tournament 1997, featuring four elimination fights with all bouts fought under Shoot Boxing Rules (70 kg/154 lbs weight class) involving eight fighters from across the world. The eight finalists were a mixture of invitees or had been involved in the 1995 tournament (for more information on these finalists, see the bulleted list below). As well as competition bouts there were also five 'Super Fights', three fought under Shoot Boxing Rules (various weight classes), two fought under MMA Rules, and a 'Special Fight' fought under Kyokushin Karate Rules (75 kg/165 lbs weight class). Kenichi Ogata (shoot Boxer)
; born January 26, 1975) is a Japanese super welterweight shoot boxer, fighting out of Cesar Gym in Asakusa. He was the first Japanese national champion of shoot boxing at Super welterweight. He is the winner of S-cup in 2006 and the finalist of 2008 S-cup. His real name is still Kenichi Ogata, but it is written as "尾形健一". Biography Young age Kenichi Ogata was born in town of Yuya, Yamaguchi, Japan on January 26, 1975. "Yuya", his hometown, was merged with other towns into Nagato City in 2005. He graduated from Nagato High School. Debut He debuted in November 1994 as a professional shoot boxer. Shoot Boxing Events
In botany, a plant shoot consists of any plant stem together with its appendages, leaves and lateral buds, flowering stems, and flower buds. The new growth from seed germination that grows upward is a shoot where leaves will develop. In the spring, perennial plant shoots are the new growth that grows from the ground in herbaceous plants or the new stem or flower growth that grows on woody plants. In everyday speech, shoots are often synonymous with stems. Stems, which are an integral component of shoots, provide an axis for buds, fruits, and leaves. Young shoots are often eaten by animals because the fibers in the new growth have not yet completed secondary cell wall development, making the young shoots softer and easier to chew and digest. Manson Gibson
Manson Howard Gibson (born May 5, 1963) is a retired American kickboxer and a 12-time world champion in kickboxing and Muay Thai. He was known for his vicious use of spinning techniques and wild, unpredictable style, mixing elements of kickboxing, Taekwondo and Northern Praying Mantis martial arts. Mikhail Illoukhine
Mikhail Ilyukhin (born November 21, 1966) is a retired Russian mixed martial artist and professional wrestler who competed in the light heavyweight division. He competed in both Fighting Network Rings, and Pride Fighting Championships, and was a prominent member of Russia Top Team, where he trained with the likes of Volk Han, Fedor Emelianenko, and Sergei Kharitonov. At Pride 26, Ilyukhin lost by stoppage to Quinton Jackson. He won his last fight at K-1 – Hero's Lithuania against Jordanas Poskaitis on November 26, 2005. Dany Bill (born 28 April 1973) is a Cameroonian former kickboxer and seven-time Muay Thai World Champion. Biography When growing up as a kid in France Dany used to play soccer, but the day he saw muay thai on TV changed his life. Right after that, in 1986, he began to train at Nemrod Boxing Gym (La Cité du Clos Saint Lazare) in his hometown Stains (93). Yoyogi National Gymnasium
Yoyogi National Gymnasium, officially is an indoor arena located at Yoyogi Park in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, which is famous for its suspension roof design.
