Natalie Renée McIntyre (born September 6, 1967), known by her stage name Macy Gray, is an American R&B and soul singer and actress. She is known for her distinctive raspy voice and a singing style heavily influenced by Billie Holiday. Gray has released ten studio albums, and received five Grammy Award nominations, winning one. ''Big'' is the fourth studio album by American singer and songwriter Macy Gray. It was released on March 21, 2007, by Geffen Records. It is Gray's first studio album in four years. The album debuted at number 39 on the US ''Billboard'' 200, selling 23,000 copies in its first week. Three singles were released from the album: " Finally Made Me Happy" (a collaboration with Natalie Cole), "Shoo Be Doo", and "What I Gotta Do". "Finally Made Me Happy" is the lead single from Macy Gray's fourth studio album, ''Big'' (2007). It features additional vocals from Natalie Cole. It was made available on iTunes for the week of March 18–24, 2007 and sold over 7,000 downloads. Gray performed the song on the ''Late Show with David Letterman'' on March 27, 2007 and on '' The View'' on March 28, 2007. The single was released on April 15, 2007 in the United Kingdom. Soon after, the video became the number-one most played video on television channel The Box and was added to the Capital FM and BBC Radio 2 radio playlists (it was playlisted on the C-list of the latter).
