Shon-Sharaf Order
The Shon-Sharaf Order () or the Order of Glory of Service is a state award of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was introduced in August 1995. It comes in two classes. The ribbon comes in blue, red, white and green. Statute The Order of Glory is awarded to citizens for their devotion and courage in defending the country and strengthening the defense and national security of Uzbekistan. Kadyr Gafurovich Gulamov ( uz, Qodir Gʻulomov, Қодир Ғуломов, russian: Кадыр Гафурович Гуламов; born February 17, 1945) is an Uzbek politician who has served as Minister of Defence of Uzbekistan. To date, he was the first and only civilian leader of an Uzbek military department. Biography He was born in Tashkent in February 1945. He is the son of the Soviet-Uzbek poet Gʻafur Gʻulom. In 1963 he began his studies at Tashkent State University before being sent to the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan in 1968. Abdulla Maxsumovich Xolmuhamedov is a retired Uzbek general who has served as the 5th Commander of the Uzbekistan Air and Air Defence Forces from 2003 to 2008. Major General Pavel Ismailovich Ergashev is an Uzbek military leader who is a Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan. Tulkun Kasimov ( uz, Тулкун Юлдашевич Касымов, translit=Tulkun Yuldashevich Qosimov) is a Soviet-Uzbek retired military officer who has served as first person to hold the post of Chief of the Joint Headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan from 2000 to 2003.
