''Shockadoom'' is a 2002 EP by American hip hop group Freestyle Fellowship. Freestyle Fellowship is an American hip hop group from Los Angeles, California. It consists of Aceyalone, Myka 9, P.E.A.C.E., and Self Jupiter. The group was a prominent part of the Good Life Cafe collective, and are part of the Project Blowed collective. History While in high school in the late 1980s, Aceyalone, Myka 9, and Self Jupiter formed the short-lived MC Aces, a precursor to Freestyle Fellowship, at the Good Life Cafe in Los Angeles, California. Subsequently, former high school friend P.E.A.C.E. was added to form Freestyle Fellowship. Freestyle Fellowship released the debut studio album, '' To Whom It May Concern...'', in 1991. Omid Walizadeh
Omid Walizadeh, also known as Omid or OD, is a hip hop producer based in Long Beach, California. He has produced tracks for the likes of Freestyle Fellowship, Busdriver, 2Mex, Subtitle, and Awol One. History Omid Walizadeh graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor's degree in recording arts. He has produced tracks since 1992. Inspired by the underground hip hop movement at the Good Life Cafe in the early 1990s, he released a collaborative album, ''Beneath the Surface'', in 1998. It featured over 30 rappers, mainly from Los Angeles. His solo debut album, ''Distant Drummer'', was released on Beneath the Surface in 2002. ''Temptations'' is the third studio album by American hip hop group Freestyle Fellowship. It was released on Ground Control Records on October 16, 2001. Its release was delayed considerably because of Self Jupiter's incarceration. Critical reception Dan LeRoy of AllMusic gave the album 2 stars out of 5, saying, "the uncompromising attitude spelled out in the song 'No Hooks No Chorus' ends up hurting the album, as too many tracks focus almost exclusively on the lyrical end of the hip-hop equation, backing the group's rhymes with raw, repetitive grooves." However, he stated that he lived in Dallas, Texas for about ten years. In elementary school, he played the accordion. He picked up the double bass when he had joined his school's marching band. When he returned to Los Angeles, Peace started playing the saxophone. In an interview, Peace stated he started rapping in his high school years in the mid to late 1980s. Edwin Maximilian "Eddie" Hayes, Jr. (born September 30, 1970), better known by his stage name Aceyalone, is an American rapper from Los Angeles, California, United States. Aceyalone is best known for his role in evolving left-field hip-hop on the West Coast at a time when the West Coast was dominated by gangsta rap.
