Shlomo Artzi
Shlomo Artzi ( he, שלמה ארצי) is an Israeli folk rock musician, composer, music producer, radio broadcaster columnist and singer-songwriter. He was born on November 26, 1949, in Moshav Alonei Abba. In the course of his career, he has sold over 1.5 million albums, making him one of Israel's most successful male singers. Early life Artzi's parents were Holocaust survivors and their memories deeply influenced him and his sister Nava Semel, a playwright. His father, Yitzhak Artzi, a Zionist activist in Bukovina, Romania in his youth, was later a member of the Knesset. His maternal grandmother was the sister of Rabbi Meir Shapiro. When Artzi was eight years old, his family moved to northern Tel Aviv. Alonei Abba
Alonei Abba ( he, אַלּוֹנֵי אַבָּא, ''lit.'' Abba's Oaks) is a moshav shitufi, or semi-cooperative village, in northern Israel. It was founded in 1948 on the site of the historical Palestinian village of Umm el Amad, later the German Templer Colonies in Palestine, German Protestant Colony of Waldheim. Dov "Dovaleh" Glickman ( he, דב "דבל'ה" גליקמן; born December 22, 1949) is an Israeli film, television and theatre actor. Biography Dov Glickman was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to a secular Jewish family. His Russian Jewish parents Shlomo and Dvora immigrated to the Land of Israel in the 1920s. He began his career at the Israel Defense Forces's Naval Entertainment troupe. During the early 1970s he was a member of the Haifa Theatre company, where he played a variety of roles. Yitzhak Rabin
Yitzhak Rabin (; he, יִצְחָק רַבִּין, ; 1 March 1922 – 4 November 1995) was an Israeli politician, statesman and general. He was the fifth Prime Minister of Israel, serving two terms in office, 1974–77, and from 1992 until his assassination in 1995. Rabin was born in Jerusalem to Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe and was raised in a Labor Zionist household. He learned agriculture in school and excelled as a student. Ehud Manor (Hebrew: אהוד מנור; born Ehud Weiner; July 13, 1941 – April 12, 2005) was an Israeli lyricist, translator, poet and radio and TV personality. He is widely considered to have been Israel's most prolific lyricist of all time, having written or translated over 1,000 songs. ''Makor Rishon'' ( he, מָקוֹר רִאשׁוֹן lit. "Firsthand Source") is a semi-major Israeli newspaper associated with Religious Zionism and the conservative right-wing.
