Shivangi Singh
Lieutenant Shivangi (born 15 March 1995) is an Indian serving in the Indian Navy. Lt. Shivangi hails from Fetehabad Village of Muzaffarpur District, Bihar and previously flew the pilatus aircraft. Lt shivangi (Indian Navy) and flight Lt shivangi Singh (Indian Air force) are two different people. Early life Shivangi Singh was born on 15 March 1995 in Muzaffarpur district, Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, India to school teacher Hari Bhushan Singh and house wife Priyanka Singh. Shivangi hails from a humble agricultural background. During her childhood, she was captivated by the sight of seeing a politician using a helicopter to attend a political gathering in her native village, which inspired her to become a pilot. The Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer is a low-wing tandem-seat training aircraft designed and manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft of Switzerland. Kumudini Tyagi
Sub-Lieutenant Kumudini Tyagi is a serving officer in the Indian Navy. She is one of the first two women, along with Sub-Lieutenant Riti Singh, to have earned their wings for operating from Indian Navy warships. Early life Tyagi was born in Ghaziabad, in 1997 to Pravesh Kumar Tyagi and Reena Tyagi. The family hails from Kharkhoda, Meerut, but moved to Ghaziabad in 1983. Her grandfather, Suresh Chand Tyagi was a sub-inspector with the Uttar Pradesh Police, and her father, Pravesh runs a security agency. Kumudini's grandmother's name is Rajesh Kumari Tyagi. Sub-Lieutenant Riti Singh Bhatia is a serving officer in the Indian Navy. She is one of the first two women, along with Sub-Lieutenant Kumudini Tyagi, to have earned their wings for operating from warships. Early life Riti comes from a family that has a history of serving in the armed forces for four generations. Her grandfather served as a signals officer in the Indian Army. Bhawana Kanth is one of the first female fighter pilots of India. She was declared as the first combat pilot along with two of her cohort, Mohana Singh, and Avani Chaturvedi. The trio was inducted into the Indian Air Force fighter squadron in June 2016. They were formally commissioned by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar. After the government of India decided to open the fighter stream in India Air Force for women on an experimental basis, these three women were the first to be selected for the program.
