Shivaji Place District Centre is a commercial centre located in Rajouri Garden, West Delhi, India. The district centre is currently under development and only five shopping malls are currently operational. Location The Shivaji Place District Centre is located in the heart of Rajouri Garden in west Delhi. It is connected by the Ring Road and Najafgarh Road and it is opposite the Rajouri Garden Market. The catchment of the district centre comprises the prime residential localities of Punjabi Bagh, Rajouri Garden, Shivaji Enclave, Shivaji Vihar, Tilak Nagar, Mansarovar Garden, Kirti Nagar, Paschim Vihar and Patel Nagar. Shivaji Bhonsale I (; 19 February 1630 – 3 April 1680), also referred to as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, was an Indian ruler and a member of the Bhonsle Maratha clan. Shivaji carved out his own independent kingdom from the declining Adilshahi sultanate of Bijapur which formed the genesis of the Maratha Empire. In 1674, he was formally crowned the ''Chhatrapati'' of his realm at Raigad Fort.
