Shironamhin ( bn, শিরোনামহীন ''Śirōnāmahīn'' English: ''Untitled'') is a Bengali rock band formed in Dhaka in 1996. Following as a rock group emerging from Dhaka's underground music in the late 1990s, they were distinguished for their extended psychedelic and progressive compositions, multi-instrumental experimentation, and philosophical lyrics and became one of the leading band of the Bengali progressive rock genre. In 2008, the band became a member of the Bangladesh Musical Bands Association (BAMBA). Shironamhin were founded by students Ziaur Rahman (guitar), Jewel (guitar) and Bulbul Hasan (vocals). Vocalist Tanzir Tuhin joined in 2002 as a fourth member of the band. Zia became the primary lyricist and thematic leader, devising the concepts behind the albums ''Jahaji'' (2004), ''Icche Ghuri'' (2006), ''Bondho Janala'' (2009) and ''Shironamhin Rabindranath'' (2010). Ziaur Rahman, ( bn, জিয়াউর রহমান''Jiẏā'ura Rahamāna''; 27 June 1975), known as ''Zia'', is a Bangladeshi rock musician, composer, bassist, songwriter, and architect popularly known as the founder and leader of the Bangladeshi independent music group Shironamhin. In addition, he plays bass guitar, cello, sarod and many other instruments for the compositions and do the production for Shironamhin band. Musical career Zia has been a fan of music from his early childhood. He became a hardcore fan of metal music during his college life and used to collect VCPs of the music videos of popular bands. In 1996, Zia and friends formed the band Shironamhin. They used to sing at TSC, Dhaka University, in their BUET campus and wherever they got a chance. Tanzir Tuhin
Tanzir Tuhin (born 26 September 1974) is a Bangladeshi musician, singer-songwriter, actor, painter, and architect, best known as a longtime member of the independent music group Shironamhin. He joined the group as lead vocalist in 2000. Shironamhin subsequently achieved national success with their albums ''Bondho Janala'', ''Shironamhin Rabindranath'' and ''Shironamhin Shironamhin''. By the late 2000s, they had become one of the most well-known group in the rock music history of Bangladesh. Amid personal conflict, Tuhin left Shironamhin in 2017 and form a new band named Avash at the end of that year. ''Rabindranath'' is the fourth album by the Bengali language, Bengali Rock music, rock band Shironamhin. ''Laser Vision'' released the album on 2010 in Bangladesh. The album's eleven songs are inspired by Rabindranath Tagore, a Bengali people, Bengali polymath who reshaped his region's Bengali literature, literature and Music of Bengal, music. Background ''Shironamhin Rabindranath'' is the fourth studio album of the band, featuring rock interpretations of Tagore's songs, known as ''Rabindra Sangeet''. ''জাহাজী (Navigator)'' is the debut studio album by Bangladeshi rock band Shironamhin. The album was recorded in Rabbit Communications Studio between 15 and 30 December 2003. It was released on 1 November 2004 by Rabbit Communications in Dhaka. Two of the album's songs, "হাসিমুখ (Smile Face)" and "লাল নীল গল্প (Red Blue Story)", became long-term mainstays of the band's live set list, while other songs were performed live only a handful of times. ''Bondho Janala'' (Bengali: বন্ধ জানালা English: ''Closed Window'') is the third album by the Bengali psychedelic rock band Shironamhin. ''G-Series'' released the album on 13 April 2009 in the Bangladesh. Background ''Bondho Janala'' was a bit challenging for Shironamhin as they were very much used to with sarod sound compositions. ''Ichchhe Ghuri'' (English: ''Ship-borne'') is the second album by the Bengali psychedelic rock band Shironamhin. ''G-Series'' released the album on 1 May 2006 in the Bangladesh. Background Ichchhe Ghuri, was 2nd album by Shironamhin released by the record label co. G-Series on 1 May 2006. Compared to its previous album, it contains some experimental sounds. G-Series is a major Bangladeshi record label. The company produces and publishes cassettes, CDs, VCDs, and DVDs of dramas, telefilms, movies, and music. It is one of the largest such companies in Bangladesh. The owner of the company is Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan, popularly known as Khaled. The Daily Star described it a major record label in Bangladesh.
