Shirley Chung
Shirley Chung is a Chinese-American chef know for appearances on '' Top Chef: New Orleans'', '' Top Chef: Charleston'' and season 3 of the Food Network's ''Tournament of Champions''. Early life and education Chung was born in Beijing, China and immigrated to the United States with her family when she was 17 years old. She was introduced to international cuisine as a child by her grandmother Liang Si Yi, who worked as a director for the Red Cross. Chung worked for several years in Silicon Valley, after graduating with a degree in business administration. She eventually left the tech industry to attend culinary school. Career Trained in classic French and Italian cuisine, Chung has since worked and opened restaurants for chefs including José Andrés, Thomas Keller and Guy Savoy. ''Top Chef Duels'' is an American reality competition series which premiered on August 6, 2014, on Bravo. The culinary show is one of the several spin-off series of the popular cooking competition show ''Top Chef'' aired on the same network. Announced in January 2014 as ''Top Chef Extreme'', the series features eighteen contestants who have previously competed in ''Top Chef'' and ''Top Chef Masters''. During each episode, two of the contestants face each other in various culinary tasks. The winner is picked at the end of an episode to compete in the championship finale. The series is hosted by Curtis Stone. Besides hosting, Stone is also a judge together with Gail Simmons, while Wolfgang Puck, Hugh Acheson and other celebrity guest judges make numerous appearances throughout the series. Brooke Williamson
Brooke Williamson (born 1978/1979) is an American chef and restaurateur. She won season 14 of the US television reality cooking competition series Top Chef and has owned several Los Angeles-area restaurants. Early life Williams was born in Los Angeles to Catherine Elliot and Keith Williamson; her parents were both artists.
