Shinichirō Watanabe
is a Japanese anime television and film director, best known for directing the critically acclaimed and commercially successful anime series '' Cowboy Bebop'' and ''Samurai Champloo''. An auteur of the industry, Watanabe's work is characterized by evocative uses of music, mature themes, and the incorporation of multiple genres. Career Watanabe was born in Kyoto. After joining the Japanese animation studio Sunrise, he supervised the episode direction and storyboards of numerous Sunrise anime, and soon made his directorial debut as co-director of the well-received ''Macross'' update, ''Macross Plus''. Shinichi Watanabe
is a Japanese anime director and voice actor. He is best known for his over-the-top adaptation of Rikdo Koshi's ''Excel Saga'', in which he appears as the character Nabeshin. Watanabe stated that the nickname Nabeshin (a name blending of "nabe" in Watanabe and "shin" in Shinichi) came to him from God. Noitamina
is a Japanese Block programming, programming block on Fuji TV devoted to anime, originally broadcast every Thursday late night/Friday morning from 00:45 to 1:15. It was launched with the intention of expanding the target audience beyond the typical young male demographic. The block debuted in April 2005 as a half-hour block. All anime production under the block are joint-venue by Fuji TV, Dentsu and usually Sony Music Entertainment Japan or Aniplex. The timeslot was expanded from half an hour to a full hour in 2010, and airs Thursday nights/Friday morning 00:45 to 1:45 but returned to half an hour timeslot in 2015 due to 5 noitaminA-produced films to be shown in Japanese theaters in the same year. is a Japanese anime television series. The series was produced by Manglobe and directed by Sayo Yamamoto, her first directorial work. The two eponymous starring roles are portrayed by film actresses Yōko Maki (''The Grudge'') and Suzuka Ohgo (''Memoirs of a Geisha'').
