Shifty (film)
''Shifty'' (2008) is a British urban crime thriller film, written and directed by Eran Creevy. Set on the outskirts of London and filmed in Borehamwood, ''Shifty'' follows themes of friendship and loyalty over the course of 24 hours in the life of a young drug dealer, the charismatic Shifty. ''Shifty'' was filmed predominantly in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, the home of Elstree Studios. Based on Eran Creevy's teenage experiences, and boasting convincing performances from a cast of rising stars, as well as veteran actors Jason Flemyng and Francesca Annis, the film was funded by Film London's Microwave scheme and delivered after a shooting schedule of just 18 days. Eran Creevy
Eran Creevy is a British director most famous for his films '' Shifty'' (2008) and ''Welcome to the Punch'' (2013), and several music videos. Career After assisting Matthew Vaughn and Woody Allen on the films ''Layer Cake'' and ''Scoop'' respectively, he began directing music videos for artists such as Asher D and Sway. It wasn't long before he directed his first commercial for Coca-Cola's energy drink, Relentless. Since then he has continued to direct music videos including " Destination Calabria" for Alex Gaudino, which went on to be one of the top 5 music videos in 2007. His Utah Saints promo won best dance promo at the UK Music Awards in 2008. His video for Sonny J, "Hands Free", also picked up several award nominations. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. "Pieces" is a collaborative single, recorded by British musicians and production team Chase & Status featuring vocals from British rapper Plan B. The single was released on 29 September 2008 as the lead single from Chase & Status' debut studio album, '' More Than Alot''. The track, co-written by Ben Drew (Plan B himself), later went on to feature in Drew's first movie production, ''Ill Manors'', with the music video also appearing on the DVD release. The music video for "Pieces" was directed by Drew, and features Chase & Status and Plan B in the recording studio, recording the track, while Plan B's ex-girlfriend destroys his flat and the trio witness it on CCTV.
