Shi Zhenglu
Shi Zhenglu (; born February 1963) is a lieutenant general in the People's Liberation Army of China. He was a representative of the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. He was an alternate member of the 19th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and is an alternate member of the 20th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Biography Shi was born in the town of , Daye County, Hubei, in February 1963. He served in the Jinan Military Region for a long time. In 2008, he led his troops to participate in disaster relief and rescue missions in Wenchuan earthquake stricken areas. He was promoted to chief of staff of the 54th Group Army (now 83rd Group Army) for his actions at the disaster relief and rescue missions. In November 2012, he became deputy commander of the army. 83rd Group Army
The 83rd Group Army (), formerly the 54th Group Army, is a military formation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Ground Forces (PLAGF). The 83rd Group Army is one of twelve total group armies of the PLAGF, the largest echelon of ground forces in the People's Republic of China, and one of three assigned to the nation's Central Theater Command. History 130th Division took part with the army in the Korean War. In 1959, it participated in Tibet insurgency operations. It participated in the Sino-Indian War of 1962. In 1979, it participated in the Sino-Vietnamese War along the Western battle line. Jiang Guoping
Jiang Guoping (; born October 1962) is a vice admiral ('' zhongjiang'') of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) who has been deputy commander of the North Theater Command since September 2019. He is a delegate to the 13th National People's Congress. Biography Jiang was born into an official family in Rushan County, Shandong, in October 1962. He graduated from Dalian Naval Academy and served as its president from 2011 to 2014. In September 2014, he was commissioned as deputy chief of staff of the North Sea Fleet. Rong Guiqing (; born May 1958) is a lieutenant general ('' zhongjiang'') in the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He has been Deputy Commander of the PLA Ground Force since December 2015, and previously served as Chief of Staff of the Chengdu Military Region and Commander of the 54th Group Army. (; ja, 将, Shō; ) is the rank held by general officers in some East Asian militaries. The ranks are used in both the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China on Taiwan. The People's Liberation Army and the People's Armed Police use three levels at present while the Republic of China Armed Forces use four. In both North and South Korea the rank is also used. Major general (abbreviated MG, maj. gen. and similar) is a military rank used in many countries. It is derived from the older rank of sergeant major general. The disappearance of the "sergeant" in the title explains the apparent confusion of a lieutenant general outranking a major general, whereas a major outranks a lieutenant. In the Commonwealth and in the United States, when appointed to a field command, a major general is typically in command of a division consisting of around 6,000 to 25,000 troops (several regiments or brigades). It is a two-star rank that is subordinate to the rank of lieutenant general and senior to the rank of brigadier or brigadier general.
