Shevri
''Shevri'' is a Marathi film made in 2006. The film is directed by Gajendra Ahire and produced by Neena Kulkarni. Plot Vidya Barve, is a divorced, working woman, sharing a rented flat with a roommate in Mumbai. Our film deals with one single night which Vidya is forced to spend on the streets of this city. As she ambles on the deserted roads waiting for morning, she's frightened, lonely, angry, confused. She keeps recalling her relationships as they stand today - Her estranged husband, her teenaged son staying with her mother in small town Nasik, her boss, her colleague, her roommate. Alternating between her encounters during this night and her past, the film finally sees a visibly confident Vidya coming to terms with her lot. And that is when dawn breaks... Neena Kulkarni
Neena Kulkarni (''neena'' Joshi) is an Indian actress. She began her acting career in the 1970s on the Marathi professional stage and Hindi experimental stage, along with fashion shows and modelling simultaneously. She met Pt Satyadev Dubey, her first guru, and went on to be a part of several Hindi productions under his direction. Mohan Rakesh's ''Adhe Adhure'', Shankar Shesh's ''Mayavi Sarovar'' and Willie Russell's ''Educating Rita'' are a few of her prominent plays. Gajendra Vitthal Ahire is an Indian Marathi film maker and screenwriter. Till now, he has 57 movies on his name in all of which he has contributed as Director, Story, Screenplay, Dialogues and Lyrics. The National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi is one of the National Film Awards presented annually by the Directorate of Film Festivals, the organisation set up by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India. The Pune International Film Festival (also known as PIFF) is an annual film festival held in Pune, a city in Maharashtra, India. Open to general public, the films are screened at NFAI, Inox, City Pride, PVR cinema halls, all located in Pune city. Dr Jabbar Patel is the chairman and director of the festival. Mohan Agashe (born 23 July 1947) is an Indian psychiatrist and actor. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1996 in theatre. Early life Agashe was born in Bhor, Maharashtra.
