Shenae Ciesiolka
Shenae Ciesiolka (born 7 August 1997) is an Australian rugby league footballer who plays as a er for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL Women's Premiership and Valleys Diehards in the QRL Women's Premiership. Prior to switching to rugby league, she represented the Australia rugby sevens team. Background Ciesiolka was born in Toowoomba, Queensland and played rugby league, rugby union and touch football growing up. In 2013, she represented the Australian under-18 touch team against New Zealand. Playing career Rugby sevens In 2014, Ciesiolka represented Australia in rugby sevens at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics, winning a gold medal. On 3 July 2015, she signed with the Australia sevens program. In April 2016, she made her debut for Australia at the 2016 Canada Women's Sevens. The Burleigh Bears are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Gold Coast, Australia. They compete in Queensland's top rugby league competition, the Queensland Cup. Since their admission to the competition in 1997, the club has appeared in six Grand Finals, winning four (1999, 2004, 2016 and 2019) and won the minor premiership twice (2003 and 2004). The St. George Illawarra Dragons is an Australian professional rugby league football club, representing both the Illawarra and St George regions of New South Wales. The club has competed in the National Rugby League since 1999 after a joint-venture was formed between the St. George Dragons (est. 1921) and the Illawarra Steelers (est. 1982).
