Shelia Marie Goss (born September 16, 1968) is an American author, freelance writer, and screenwriter. Shelia Goss was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and grew up with both of her parents and two brothers. Her parents expressed the importance of education, so after four years at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA Shelia received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1990. She went on to work in corporate America prior to pursuing a career as a writer. Murtaz Shelia (born 25 March 1969) is a Georgian former professional footballer who played as a defender. He was capped 29 times for the Georgia national team between 1994 and 1998. His clubs included Dinamo Tbilisi, 1. FC Saarbrücken, Spartak-Alania Vladikavkaz, Manchester City and Lokomotivi Tbilisi. Club career With Dinamo Tbilisi, Shelia formed part of a Georgian league championship winning team for five years in a row, from 1991 to 1995. In 1995, he joined Spartak-Alania Vladikavkaz of the Russian league, where, as one of five Georgians on the books of the North Ossetians, he helped the club win the Russian league title in his first season. Two years later Shelia joined English club Manchester City, where his former Dinamo Tbilisi team-mate Georgi Kinkladze was the star player. Shelia Burrell
Shelia Burrell (born 15 January 1972 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is a retired American heptathlete. She was a two-time representative of the United States at the Summer Olympics, competing in 2000 and 2004. Her best Olympic finish was fourth place. She also competed twice at the World Championships in Athletics, which included a bronze medal in 2001. She was also a two-time silver medalist at the 1999 Pan American Games. Her personal best for the heptathlon 6472 points and she was American national champion on four occasions. On the professional circuit, she was the winner of the 2002 Hypo-Meeting, having previously finished fourth at the 1999 Hypo-Meeting and the 2000 Hypo-Meeting. Shelia Jordan
Shelia Jordan was the Mayor of Galway from 1977–1978. A native of Lower Salthill and later Raleigh Row, Jordan was the fourth of seven children to Patrick Walsh and Sabina Coyne. Patrick was a Sergeant Major with the Connaught Rangers and fought during the Gallipoli Campaign. Two of his brothers, Michael and Peter, were killed in action. Upon returning, Patrick Walsh became a tailor. In 1945 she married John Jordan from Galway's Abbey Lane. Their children were Mary, Gerard, Hilary and John. She served as chairperson and secretary of the Woodquay and District Residents Association, and this was her route into city politics. She was the third elected candidate in the 1974 elections, and became Mayor in 1977. During her Mayoralty she entertained the French, British and Russian ambassadors.
