Sheldon Independent School District
Sheldon Independent School District is a public school district in unincorporated area, unincorporated northeast Harris County, Texas (United States, USA). The majority of the district lies in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Houston with a small portion within city limits. Sheldon ISD covers 53.5 square miles and serves several neighborhoods in the Sheldon Lake area. Administration for the district is headquartered in the Dr. Donald Ney Administration Complex with Dr. King Davis acting as superintendent. Since the early 2000s, strong enrollment growth has driven new construction and expansions throughout the district. Nearly 7,800 students are enrolled in 2015. The district and all of its schools were rated as having "Texas Education Agency accountability ratings system, Met Standard" in 2014 under the new Texas Education Agency accountability ratings. Texas State Highway Beltway 8
Beltway 8 (BW8), the Sam Houston Parkway, along with the Sam Houston Tollway, is an beltway around the city of Houston, Texas, United States, lying entirely within Harris County. Crenshaw Memorial Stadium
J.H. Crenshaw Memorial Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in unincorporated Harris County located northeast of Houston, Texas. The stadium is owned and operated by Sheldon Independent School District and is composed of a track and field which are used for various sports. The stadium is situated in the space between C.E. King Middle School and C.E. King High School and is shared by C.E. King Middle school and Michael R. Null Middle School. Until 2019 when Sheldon ISD Panther Stadium was opened, it was used by C.E. Lake Houston
Lake Houston is a reservoir on the San Jacinto River, 15 miles (24 km) northeast of downtown Houston, Texas, United States. The reservoir is the primary municipal water supply for the city of Houston. Location and creation Situated between the communities of Kingwood, Atascocita and Humble on the west bank, Sheldon on the south, and Crosby and Huffman on the east. An earthen dam spans a portion of the southern bank along Dwight D. Eisenhower Park.
