Sheikhpura District
Sheikhpura district is one of the thirty-eight districts of the Indian state of Bihar. Sheikhpura is the administrative headquarter of this district. Sheikhpura district is a part of the Munger division. Sheikhpura was split from the Munger district into a separate district with headquarters in Sheikhpura on 31 July 1994 by Rajo Singh. As of 2011 it was the least populous district of Bihar (out of 38). Geography The Sheikhpura district occupies an area of , comparatively equivalent to the Solomon Islands' Kolombangara. Economy Shekhpura is one of the smallest districts of Bihar. The population of Shekhpura primarily depends on agriculture. Small-scale mining operations of smaller hillocks with crushers is another of the main activities. Sunila Devi
Sunila Devi (1 May 1963 – 7 July 2017) was an Indian social activist and politician. She was an executive member of an NGO called People's Association for Research and Development, Patna which is working on financial inclusion of women and on the issues of women empowerment through micro-finance activities particularly in Nawada district of Bihar. She was wife of Sheikhpura former MLA Sanjay Kumar Singh alias Munna Singh who died in 2010, who was two times Member of Bihar Legislative Assembly before her. Now her son represents Barbigha earlier as Candidate of Indian National Congress but in 2020 Elections he joined Janata Dal (United). Aftab Alam (born 19 April 1948) is an Indian Judge and former Justice of the Supreme Court of India. Early life Alam was born in 1948 in Sheikhpura district, Bihar. He studied in Patna Collegiate School. Career After passing Law he was enrolled as an Advocate and practiced on Criminal, Labor and Constitutional matter in the Patna High Court. Alam was designated a Senior Advocate at the age of 36. He became Additional Standing Counsel of the Government of India in the High Court on 7 September 1981 and served up to 6 September 1985. On 27 July 1990, Alam was elevated as a permanent Judge of the Patna High Court. He was transferred to Jammu and Kashmir High Court as acting Chief Justice 6 June 2007. On 12 November 2007, he became the Justice of the Supreme Court of India. The Magahi language (), also known as Magadhi (), is a language spoken in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal states of East India, eastern India, and in the Terai of Nepal. Shri Krishna Sinha
Shri Krishna Sinha (21 October 1887 – 31 January 1961), also known as Shri Babu, was the first chief minister of the Indian state of Bihar (1946–61). Except for the period of World War II, Sinha was the chief minister of Bihar from the time of the first Congress Ministry in 1937 until his death in 1961.
