Shaun Dennis
Shaun Dennis (born 20 December 1969 in Kirkcaldy) is a Scottish retired professional football player and coach, primarily with Raith Rovers. He was capped by Scotland at under-21 level. Club career Shaun Dennis made his debut for Raith Rovers in 1988 and stayed at the club until 1997, when he joined Hibernian. He scored a penalty kick in the 1994 Scottish League Cup Final win over Celtic at Ibrox Stadium. He also played in Raith's subsequent UEFA Cup run the following year. Dennis also scored Raith's first goal in the Scottish Premier Division, against St Johnstone in August 1993, in a 1–1 draw. Dennis won the Scottish First Division championship in 1998–99 and played in 64 games for Hibernian before returning to Raith on loan for three months in September 2000. He signed a permanent contract at Raith in the summer of 2001, staying for three years, winning the Second Division title in the process. Kirkcaldy
Kirkcaldy ( ; sco, Kirkcaldy; gd, Cair Chaladain) is a town and former royal burgh in Fife, on the east coast of Scotland. It is about north of Edinburgh and south-southwest of Dundee. The town had a recorded population of 49,460 in 2011, making it Fife's second-largest settlement and the List of towns and cities in Scotland by population, 12th most populous settlement in Scotland. Kirkcaldy has long been nicknamed the Lang Toun (; Scots language, Scots for "long town") in reference to the early town's main street, as indicated on maps from the 16th and 17th centuries. Scottish Second Division
The Scottish Football League Second Division was the third tier of the Scottish football league system between 1975 and 2013. History The Second Division was created in 1975, as part of a wider reconstruction of the Scottish Football League (SFL). Prior to 1975, the SFL had been split into two divisions (Division One and Division Two). The effect of the reconstruction was to split these two divisions into three, with the top flight named the Premier Division, second tier the First Division, and a new third tier was created known as the Second Division. The 1994–95 Scottish League Cup was the 49th staging of the Scotland's second most prestigious football knockout competition, also known for sponsorship reasons as the Coca-Cola Cup. The competition was won by Raith Rovers, who defeated Celtic in a penalty shootout after a 2–2 draw in the final at Ibrox Stadium. The Scottish League Cup (also known as the Viaplay Cup for sponsorship reasons) is a football competition open to all Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) clubs.
