SHA-1
In cryptography, SHA-1 (Secure Hash Algorithm 1) is a cryptographically broken but still widely used hash function which takes an input and produces a 160-bit (20-byte) hash value known as a message digest – typically rendered as 40 hexadecimal digits. It was designed by the United States National Security Agency, and is a U.S. Federal Information Processing Standard. Since 2005, SHA-1 has not been considered secure against well-funded opponents; as of 2010 many organizations have recommended its replacement. NIST formally deprecated use of SHA-1 in 2011 and disallowed its use for digital signatures in 2013, and declared that it should be phased out by 2030. , chosen-prefix attacks against SHA-1 are practical. As such, it is recommended to remove SHA-1 from products as soon as possible and instead use SHA-2 or SHA-3. Replacing SHA-1 is urgent where it is used for digital signatures. All major web browser vendors ceased acceptance of SHA-1 SSL certificates in 2017. In February ...

It marked the band's major label debut and their first collaboration with producer Terry Date. It has been recognized as one of the first ever groove metal albums. Writing and recording Writing sessions for ''Cowboys from Hell'' took place throughout 1988 and 1989. Shattered (song)
"Shattered" is a song by the English rock band the Rolling Stones from their 1978 album ''Some Girls''. The song is a reflection of American lifestyles and life in 1970s-era New York City, but also influences from the English punk rock movement can be heard. History Recorded from October to December 1977, "Shattered" features lyrics sung in sprechgesang by Jagger on a guitar riff by Keith Richards. Jagger commented in a ''Rolling Stone'' interview that he wrote the lyrics in the back of a New York cab. Most of Richards' guitar work is a basic rhythmic pattern strumming out the alternating tonic and dominant chords with each bar, utilising a relatively modest phaser sound effect for some added depth. Due to the absence of bassist Bill Wyman, the bass track is played by Ronnie Wood. ''Billboard'' stated that the "heavy bottom and...frenetic vocals translate New York's neurotic energy to music." ''Cash Box'' said that "the unique rhythmic undercurrents and Mick Jagger's harrowi ...

The band was composed of vocalist/guitarist Adam Cox, bassist Matt Fitzgerald, guitarist Terry Six, and drummer Jeremy Gage. Shortly after the release of their debut studio album, ''Guitar Romantic'', Cox, Fitzgerald, and Gage were killed in a car accident on July 20, 2003, after which the band ceased to exist. History The band rose to prominence in the US Pacific Northwest scene shortly after they formed in 2001. The band drew influences from early British punk bands such as The Undertones, Buzzcocks, The Clash, The Jam, The Boys and The Only Ones, as well as power pop acts like Nick Lowe. Adam Cox invited New Orleans musician King Louie Bankston into the band's lineup after Cox heard Bankston's song "I'm a Pretender" during a telephone conversation.
