Sharon Kao (; born 22 August 1991) is a Taiwanese actress. She is mixed with Bunun descent (Austronesian) and Chinese. In 2006, she starred in a TV series ''Curly Hair'' produced by Public Television Service Taiwan. She starred in ''Leaving Gracefully'' in 2011. In 2014, she made a cameo appearance in ''Lucy'' as a TV News Reporter which directed by Luc Besson. In 2016, she starred in ''Lokah Laqi'' and won Best New Talent at the 18th Taipei Film Awards. She got married in 2017 in California. ''Night Market Life'' () is a Taiwanese Hokkien television drama that began airing on Formosa Television in Taiwan on 22 December 2009. This is also known as the first HD drama ever broadcast on Formosa Television. It stars Chen Meifeng, Morning Chang, Peng Chia-chia ( 澎恰恰), Jimmy Ni ( 倪齊民), Wang Shih-hsien, Fon Cin, Mike Lee ( 李政穎) and Chiang Tsu-ping among others. Very little of the show is actually set in a night market. Rather, the show is centered on several vendors at a night market whose children befriend each other and go their separate paths upon reaching adulthood. Laha Mebow
Laha Mebow (; born 5 December 1975) is a Taiwanese Atayal film director, screenwriter and television producer. She is notable for directing the film ''Hang in There, Kids!'' for which she won two awards at the Taipei Film Festival. She is the first female Taiwanese indigenous film director and TV producer. Life and career Laha Mebow was born in 1975 in Nan-ao, Taiwan. She was raised in Taichung by her father who was a police officer and her mother who was a teacher. After graduating from Shih Hsin University with a degree in film she later joined Taiwan Indigenous Television where she learned more about her heritage and indigenous culture.
