Sharon Gesthuizen
Sharon Maria Jacoba Gerarda Gesthuizen (born 23 January 1976 in Nijmegen) is a Dutch politician and former businesswoman and trade unionist. As a member of the Socialist Party (Netherlands), Socialist Party (Socialistische Partij) she was an House of Representatives of the Netherlands, MP between 30 November 2006 and 23 March 2017. She focused on matters of economy, economic affairs, right of asylum, asylum and immigration policy, and judiciary. From April till December 2006 she was a member of the municipal council of Haarlem. In 2018 she left the Socialist Party in favor of GreenLeft because she didn't agree with the party's stance on migration. Gesthuizen grew up in Millingen aan de Rijn and studied art at the Artez Institute of the Arts in Arnhem. From 2002 to 2003 she was a member of the Dutch Student Union (LSVb). House Of Representatives (Netherlands)
The House of Representatives (, pronounced ; commonly referred to as the ', literally "Second Chamber of the States General") is the lower house of the bicameral parliament of the Netherlands, the States General, the other one being the Senate. It has 150 seats, which are filled through elections using party-list proportional representation. Generally, the house is located in the Binnenhof in The Hague, however, it has temporarily moved to the former building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Bezuidenhoutseweg 67 in the Hague while the Binnenhof is being renovated. Arnhem
Arnhem ( or ; german: Arnheim; South Guelderish: ''Èrnem'') is a city and municipality situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands about 55 km south east of Utrecht. It is the capital of the province of Gelderland, located on both banks of the rivers Nederrijn and Sint-Jansbeek, which was the source of the city's development.
