Sharfabad Society
Sharfabad Society ( ur, شرف آباد ) is one of the neighbourhoods of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. There are several ethnic groups in Sharfabad Society including Muhajirs from bihar, India (Pakistan), Muhajirs, Punjabi people, Punjabis, Sindhi people, Sindhis, Kashmiri people, Kashmiris, Saraiki people, Seraikis, Pashtun people, Pakhtuns, Baloch people, Balochis, Memon people, Memons, Musta'li, Bohras, Ismaili people, Ismailis, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. The population of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town is estimated to be nearly one million. Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town
Gulshan Town ( ur, ) is a Karachi borough in the northeastern part of Karachi. Gulshan Town was formed in 2001 as part of the Local Government Ordinance 2001, and was subdivided into 11 union councils. The town system was disbanded in 2011, and Gulshan Town was re-organized as sub-division of Karachi East District in 2015.
