Sharaf al-Din Qaraqush al-Armani al-Muzaffari al-Nasiri al-Taqavi (died 1212) was a Circassian Mamluk in the service of the Ayyubid prince al-Muzaffar, who engaged in a series of campaigns of conquest in Tripolitania and Ifriqiya between 1172 and the 1190s. Sharifuddin Pirzada () NI (12 June 1923 – 2 June 2017) was a noted Pakistani Barrister who served as a senior advocate at the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Personal life Syed Sharifuddin Pirzada was born in the city of Burhanpur, in what is today Madhya Pradesh, to parents Mir Niazi Pirzada and his wife, Fatima. Şeref Taşlıova
Şerafettin Taşliova (1938 – 20 September 2014) was a Turkish storyteller in the asik bardic tradition. Taşliova won many prizes at bardic contests for improvised poetry and storytelling; many at international level. He had also been awarded by UNESCO. He started writing poetry around the age of ten and was widely recognised for his ability to tell epic tales, being one of the most prominent figures in the northeastern Anatolian tradition of minstrelsy, He was a prolific published author of poetry, and has also recorded many albums of his poetry and bardic stories. Taşliova also had a long career in broadcasting. He made appearances on a number of Turkish television stations, and had been making a regular radio broadcast since 1966. Hamit Zübeyir Koşay ( ba, Абдулхәмит Зөбәйер Ҡушай; tt-Cyrl, Абдулхәмит Зөбәер Кушай; 1897 – 1984) was a Turkish archaeologist, ethnographer, writer, and folklore researcher. Biography He was the son of Ubeydullah Efendi who was a scholar of the period and Rizaetdin Fäxretdin (close friend of Musa Carullah) a famous scientist, was his brother-in-law. Şerafettin Elçi (14 March 1938 – 25 December 2012) was a Kurdish lawyer, politician, government minister and statesman in Turkey. He was one of the pioneers of Kurdish politics in Turkey. Early years Şerafettin Elçi was born in Cizre, Şırnak Province on 14 March 1938. He finished primary education in his hometown. After completing secondary education in Mardin, he studied law at Ankara University, Law School and graduated in 1964. During his university years, he was tried in the "Case of Kurdish Propagandists" ( tr, Kürtçülük Davası), so-called "Case of the 49s" under accusation of making Kurdish propaganda. ''Bad Cat'' ( tr, Kötü Kedi Şerafettin) is a 2016 Turkish adult computer-animated action comedy film directed by Mehmet Kurtuluş and Ayşe Ünal. The film is based on the comic strip ''Kötü Kedi Şerafettin'' by Bülent Üstün. This is an independent movie and this work was self-funded, with some of the budget raised through product placements. It was featured and became the first animated Turkish film and the first comic's adaptation from Turkey to be shown at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2016. After the film's television premiere took place on 1 July 2017 in Turkey, the Radio and Television Supreme Council fined the Kanal D television channel for airing this adult animation, which has a cat character who is a smoker and an alcoholic.The film was released on Tubi on April 20, 2023. Sharafuddeen Bu Ali Shah Qalandar Panipati, renowned as Bu Ali Qalandar (1209–1324 CE), born in Panipat, Haryana, India, was a Qalandar and Sufi saint of the Owaisī Order, who lived and taught in India. His shrine or dargah (mausoleum) is at Bu Ali Shah Qalandar Dargah, Panipat, which is a place of pilgrimage. His real name was Sharfuddin but he is well known by his title Bu Ali Shah Qalandar. Sheikh Sharaf Ad-Din Ibn Al-Hasan
Sheikh Sharaf ad-Dīn ibn al-Hasan () was the son and religious heir of al-Hasan ibn ‘Adī and thus head of the ‘Adawiyya order. He died in battle against the Mongols in 1258 and was succeeded by his uncle, Fakhr ad-Dīn ibn ‘Adī. Due to the hostility of the Mongols, his son Zayn ed Din preferred not to become his successor and passed on the duties to Fakhr ad-Dīn ibn ‘Adī, who was married to a Mongol. The Sherfedin sanctuary is considered to be one of the oldest and most important Yazidi holy sites. Sherfedin is particularly revered in the Sinjar region. The Sadaat Amroha ( ur, سادات امروہہ) or Amrohi SAYYID or SAYYID OF AMROHA( ur, امروہی سید) are a community of Sayyids, historically settled in the town of Amroha, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Sharaf ad-Dīn Abū Tawʾamah ( ar, شرف ٱلدِّيْن أبُو تَوْأَمَة, bn, আবু তাওয়ামা) was an Islamic scholar, author and muhaddith based in the subcontinent. He played a large role in disseminating Islam in eastern Bengal, establishing one of the country's first madrasas. According to A. F. M. Abdur Rahman, in addition to his proficiency in Persian and Arabic, he became well conversant in the local Old Bengali language of the time.
