Shaquille Harrison
Shaquille Harrison (born October 6, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. College career A guard from Kansas City, Missouri, Harrison played college basketball at Tulsa, turning down an offer from Kansas to play football. He was a four-year starter for the Golden Hurricane. As a senior, he was named American Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year after averaging 14.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while maintaining a 3.135 grade-point average. He is the only player in Tulsa history to register 1,300 points, 400 assists, and 200 steals in his career. Tulsa Golden Hurricane Men's Basketball
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's basketball team represents the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The team participates in the American Athletic Conference. The Golden Hurricane are led by head coach Eric Konkol, hired from Louisiana Tech on March 21, 2022 to replace Frank Haith who had resigned. The team has long been successful, especially since the hiring of Nolan Richardson in 1980. Many big-name coaches previously worked at Tulsa, like University of Kansas coach Bill Self and Minnesota coach Tubby Smith. The Hurricane have been to the NCAA tournament 14 times in their history. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. 2021–22 NBA G League Season
The 2021–22 NBA G League season is the 21st season of the NBA G League, the official minor league basketball organization owned by the National Basketball Association (NBA). The prior season, the league played a shortened season with 18 teams and all games were held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Bay Lake, Florida, in similar to the 2020 NBA Bubble due to the ongoing restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021–22 season consists of the Showcase Cup from November 5 to December 22 with all 30 teams participating.
