Shantou University
Shantou University (; abbreviated STU), a key comprehensive university under the provincial Project 211 program in Guangdong, was founded in 1981 with the approval of the State Council. It is the only public university that receives funding from the Li Ka Shing Foundation. The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC, zh, 中国人民政治协商会议), also known as the People's PCC (, ) or simply the PCC (), is a political advisory body in the People's Republic of China and a central part of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s United Front system. Li Hongzhong (; born 13 August 1956) is a Chinese politician, who is a member of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party. Wu Nansheng (; August 1922 – 10 April 2018) was a Chinese Communist revolutionary and reformist politician.
