Shanono
Shanono is a Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria. It is the headquarter of Shanono local government. The origin of Shanono town, Shanono local government (town) could historically be traced back to renowned brothers ''Jaulere and ''Shanu''. These two brothers are to the land. Purposely for grazing and rearing of cattle, they were believed to come from the town of Hadejia in present Jigawa State. Having seeing that the land is fertile and good for their animals grazing the eldest settle in the place, for at least a year/season before they move forward, but upon observing the climatic conditions of the area which is suitable they decided to remain in the place and that was how some other people come to settle with them. Kano State
Kano State (Hausa: ''Jihar Kano''جىِهَر كَنوُ) (Fula: Leydi Kano 𞤤𞤫𞤴𞤣𞤭 𞤳𞤢𞤲𞤮𞥅 ) is one of the 36 states of Nigeria, located in the northern region of the country. Hadejia
Haɗejiya (also Haɗeja, previously Biram) is a Hausa town in eastern Jigawa State, northern Nigeria. The population was approximately 105,628 in 2006. Hadejia lies between latitude 12.4506N and longitude 10.0404E. It shared boundary with Kiri Kasama Local Government from the East, Mallam Maɗori Local Government from the North, and Auyo Local Government from the West. The Hadejia Local Government consist of eleven (11) political wards namely: Atafi, Dubantu, Gagulmari, Kasuwar Ƙofa, Kasuwar Kuda, Matsaro, Majema, Rumfa, Sabon Garu, Ƴankoli and Yayari.
