Shannon Breen
Shannon Breen (born March 16, 1989) is an American football center who is a free agent. He played college football at West Virginia Wesleyan. He has been a member of the Milwaukee Mustangs, Green Bay Blizzard, Cleveland Gladiators, Montreal Alouettes and Philadelphia Soul. Early years Breen graduated from Linganore High School in Frederick, Maryland in 2007. He earned First Team Carroll All-Gazette Football and First Team All-MVAL Chesapeake Conference honors as a center his senior season in 2006. College career Breen was a four-year starter and a two-year captain for the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan College. He became a starter at center midway through his freshman year and then moved to right tackle the following year. He was then a left tackle his final two years of college. Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost lineman of the offensive line on a football team's offense. The center is also the player who passes (or " snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each play. The Arizona Rattlers are a professional indoor American football team based in Phoenix, Arizona. They are currently members of the Indoor Football League (IFL). The National Conference champion Arizona Rattlers defeated the American Conference champion Cleveland Gladiators, 72–32. League business Teams The city of Anaheim, California was awarded an expansion team on August 15, 2013. The Indoor Football League (IFL) is a professional indoor American football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. It has one of the largest number of currently active teams among indoor football leagues. The league has operated continuously under the same name and corporate structure longer than any other current indoor football league. With the closure of the Arena Football League in 2019, the IFL is the oldest active professional indoor football league in North America.
