Shane Drumgold Senior counsel, SC (born 1965) is an Barrister, Australian Barrister, Adjunct professor, Adjunct Professor of law, and the Australian Capital Territory’s fifth Director of Public Prosecutions. He was appointed on 1 January 2019 by the Attorney-General of Australia, Attorney General Gordon Ramsay (politician), Gordon Ramsay, succeeding Jon White SC. Early life and education Shane Drumgold was born Neville Shane Drumgold in Sydney, Sydney, New South Wales. Drumgold grew up in the Public housing, public housing estate of Mount Druitt in Sydney’s outer western suburbs. He attended Lethbridge Park Public School, then Shalvey Public High School. In 1978 his family relocated to Taree, New South Wales. Here he attended Taree High School and then Chatham High School (New South Wales), Chatham High School. Solomon Islands is an island country consisting of six major islands and over 900 smaller islands in Oceania, to the east of Papua New Guinea and north-west of Vanuatu.
