Allama Syed Shamsul Haq Afghani (born; 8 January 1901 – 16 August 1983) ( Urdu: علامہ سیّد شمس الحق افغانی;( SI)) was an afghani Islamic scholar and former President of Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan from 19 October 1959 – 12 January 1963. Education He received his early education from his father, then entered a primary school in 1909. Then got further education from different scholars of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan. He got his higher education from Darul Uloom Deoband in 1920 and completed his "Dora-e-Hadith" in 1921. His teachers include famous religious scholars like, Anwar Shah Kashmiri Mian Asghar Hussain Deobandi Muhammad Rasul Khan Hazarvi Ashraf Ali Thanwi and Shabbir Ahmad Usmani. Wifaq Ul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan
Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan (Urdu: ) is the largest federation of Islamic seminaries in Pakistan, founded in 1959. More than 10,000 seminaries and 23,000 madaris across Pakistan are affiliated with the federation. It controls all the seminaries which are run by Deobandi School of thought. Mufti Taqi Usmani has been appointed as the new president on 19 September 2021 after the death of the former president, Abdur Razzaq Iskander. Qari Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari is general sectary of the federation. The head office of the federation is situated in Multan. Allama Khalid Mahmood
Dr Allama Khalid Maḥmūd (17 October 1925 – 14 May 2020) was a Pakistani Sunni Islamic scholar who served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He established the Islamic Academy and City Jamia Masjid in Manchester, England, and was best known for his works related to the Finality of the Prophethood. Education Maḥmūd studied Islamic Sciences from Muhammad Zakariya Kandhlawi, Shamsul Haq Afghani, Shabbir Ahmad Usmani, and Badre Alam Meerthi. He received his PhD degree in 1970 from the University of Birmingham. He also completed his master's degrees in Arabic, Persian, Philosophy & Theology, also achieving an LLB in Law. Career He served as a senior Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (Shariat Appellate Bench). He was also director of the Islamic Academy of Manchester UK.
