Shamsul Anuar Nasarah
Shamsul Anuar bin Nasarah ( Jawi: شمس الأنوار بن نصرة; born 1 June 1966) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail since December 2022 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Lenggong since March 2008. He served as the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to his resignation in August 2021. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) party in the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has also served as President of the Malaysian Youth Council. His appointment as a deputy minister in December 2022 is a demotion as he was previously appointed as a minister in March 2020. This has rarely happened in the Malaysian politics. The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mahiaddin bin Md Yasin (born 15 May 1947), commonly known as Muhyiddin bin Muhammad Yassin ( ms, محيي الدين بن محمد ياسين, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; ), is a Malaysian politician who served as the 8th Prime Minister of Malaysia from March 2020 to August 2021. Appointed as prime minister amid a political crisis, Muhyiddin served for 17 months and resigned after losing parliamentary support, making him the second shortest-serving prime minister in Malaysian history after Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The National Front ( ms, Barisan Nasional; abbrev: BN) is a political coalition of Malaysia that was founded in 1973 as a coalition of centre-right and right-wing political parties. 2018 Malaysian General Election
The 2018 Malaysian General Election, formally known as the 14th Malaysian General Election (), was held on Wednesday, 9 May 2018, for members of the 14th Parliament of Malaysia. At stake were all 222 seats in the Dewan Rakyat (the legislature's lower house) and 505 seats in 12 out of the 13 state legislative assemblies of Malaysia. The 13th Parliament of Malaysia was dissolved by Prime Minister Najib Razak on 7 April 2018. 2013 Malaysian General Election
General elections were held in Malaysia on Sunday, 5 May 2013 to elect the members of the 13th Parliament. Voting took place in all 222 parliamentary constituencies, each electing one MP to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. State elections also took place in 505 state constituencies in 12 of the 13 states (excluding Sarawak) on the same day. The elections were the first since Najib Razak became Prime Minister in 2009. The incumbent right-wing Barisan Nasional led by Najib won a second term against the opposition centre-left Pakatan Rakyat led by Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, after Barisan Nasional formed a majority government at a federal level. A general election was held on Saturday, 8 March 2008 for members of the 12th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 222 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament.
