''Shamo'' is a 2007 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Soi Cheang, based on the Japanese manga of the same name. The film stars Shawn Yue as a student who murders his parents, and, while in prison, is trained to become a violent, professional fighter by a fellow inmate played by Francis Ng. Dylan Kuo
Dylan Kuo (; born 8 June 1977) is a Taiwanese actor, singer and model. He rose to fame in 2004 after playing the lead role in the television series '' The Outsiders''. He is also known as Irons Kwok, his earlier western name, and Kwok Bun-chiu, his name pronounced in Cantonese. Early life Dylan Kuo was born in Taipei, Taiwan on 8 June 1977, the youngest of a two-child family. He has a brother older than him by 4 years. He has been described by family members and teachers as a shy, quiet and reserved child. His parents divorced when he was very young. He grew up in a single-parent home living with his mother and older brother.
