Shalini Mahtani
Shalini Mahtani, MBE, (born April 12, 1972) () is the founder and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Community Business, a non-profit organization dedicated to corporate social responsibility in Asia. In 2014, Mahtani founded The Zubin Foundation, an independent non-profit organization to raise awareness on social issues in Hong Kong. Mahtani serves on the board of Community Business, Hong Kong Unison and The University of Hong Kong Career Advisory Board. Mahtani is an appointed member of the Hong Kong SAR Government's Transport Advisory Committee and Business Facilitation and Advisory Committee. Sindhis ( sd, سنڌي Perso-Arabic: सिन्धी Devanagari; ) are an Indo-Aryan ethnic group who speak the Sindhi language and are native to the province of Sindh in Pakistan. After the partition of British Indian empire in 1947, many Sindhi Hindus and Sindhi Sikhs migrated to the newly independent Dominion of India and other parts of the world. Pakistani Sindhis are predominantly Muslim with a smaller Sikh and Hindu minority, whereas Indian Sindhis are predominantly Hindu with a Sikh, Jain and Muslim minority. Hari Naroomal Harilela, (10 August 1922 – 29 December 2014) was a Hong Kong Indian businessman, hotelier and philanthropist and the founder and chairman of the Harilela Group. The group runs businesses ranging from hotel and real estate investment to import and export trading. He was often dubbed the richest Indian in Hong Kong. Background Hari Harilela was born in Hyderabad, British India in 1922. His father Naroomal Lilaram Mirchandani (later renamed Naraindas Harilela) was the first of the family to venture to Hong Kong and Canton in search of his fortune and opened an antique shop there. Later, on receiving the news that his mother was very ill in Sindh, he rushed to India and was devastated to learn that his mother had just died upon his return. BSE Limited, also known as the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), is an Indian stock exchange. It is located on Dalal Street in Mumbai.
