Shakur Mohammed
Abdul Shakur Mohammed (born 27 August 2003) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Orlando City of Major League Soccer. A Right to Dream Academy graduate, Mohammed played college soccer for two seasons at Duke University before being selected by Orlando City as the second-overall pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft. Early life Youth career Born in Kumasi, Ghana, Mohammed graduated from the Right to Dream Academy before emigrating to the United States to complete his high school studies at Millbrook School in Stanford, New York. While at Millbrook he helped lead the school's soccer team to the Class C New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Championship in 2018. He also played club soccer at Black Rock FC. 2021 ACC Men's Soccer Tournament
The 2021 ACC men's soccer tournament will be the 35th edition of the ACC Men's Soccer Tournament. The tournament will decide the Atlantic Coast Conference champion and guaranteed representative into the 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament. The final will be played at Sahlen's Stadium in Cary, North Carolina. The Clemson Tigers were the defending champions, but were unable to defend their title, as they fell to Duke in the semifinals. Notre Dame won their first ACC title, by defeating NC State in the first round, Louisville on penalties in the quarterfinals, Pittsburgh in the semifinals, and Duke in the final, 2–0. It was also the first ACC title for head coach Chad Riley. MLS Next Pro is a men's professional soccer league in the United States and Canada that is affiliated with Major League Soccer. It launched in 2022 with 21 teams and will expand to 28 in 2023. The 2023 MLS Next Pro season is the second season of MLS Next Pro, the reserve league of Major League Soccer. 27 clubs will participate in the 2023 season. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. Ruan Gregório Teixeira (born 29 May 1995), known simply as Ruan, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right back for MLS club D.C. United. The Hermann Trophy is awarded annually by the Missouri Athletic Club to the United States's top men's and women's college soccer players. 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Soccer Season
The 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference men's soccer season was the 69th season of men's varsity soccer in the conference. Clemson were the defending champions of the Atlantic Conference and Pittsburgh were the defending champions of the Coastal Conference. Notre Dame were the defending ACC Tournament Champion. Eight ACC teams were invited to the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Clemson had the best showing of the eight, winning their third title in program history. Syracuse won the Atlantic Conference with a 5–1–2 record and Duke won the Costal Conference. Syracuse went on to win the ACC Tournament 2–0 over eighth seed Clemson in the final.
