Manju Dey
Manju Dey (7 May 1926 — 30 September 1989) was a Bengali actress and director. She received the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 25th Annual BFJA Awards for the film '' Carey Saheber Munshi'' in 1962. Career Dey was born in Baharampur, British India in 1926. She first became popular for her acting in Bengali film ''Jighansa''. She was a leading actress in various black and white films in the early 1950s and 1960s. Manna Dey
Prabodh Chandra Dey (May 1, 1919 − October 24, 2013), known by his stage name Manna Dey, was an internationally acclaimed and celebrated Indian playback singer, music director, and a musician. As a classical vocalist, he belonged to the Bhendibazaar Gharana and was trained under Ustad Aman Ali Khan. He is considered one of the most versatile and celebrated vocalists of the Hindi film industry, often credited with the success of Indian classical music in Hindi commercial movies. ''Satyanweshi'' is a 2013 Bengali mystery-thriller film directed by Rituparno Ghosh and produced by Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni. This was Ghosh's last full-length film as a director.
