Shahrul Igwan
Shahrul Igwan bin Samsudin (born 17 May 1994) is a Malaysian footballer for Kelantan. He primarily plays as a defensive midfielder and as an attacking midfielder. Club career Early year Born in Alor Setar, Kedah, Shahrul joined the Bukit Jalil Sports School at the age of 14, and been promoted to Harimau Muda team at the age 18. His career has started with Kedah under 12 in 2004 represented the State in numerous tournament. When the Harimau Muda squad played in the Singapore league (2014, 2015), Shahrul was a key player for the squad, making 42 appearances and scoring four goals. Negeri Sembilan After Harimau Muda team been dissolved in 2015, Shahrul signed two-years contract with his hometown side Negeri Sembilan. The 2019 Malaysia FA Cup (also known as Shopee Malaysia FA Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 30th edition of the Malaysia FA Cup, a knockout competition for Malaysia's state football association and clubs. The Malaysia FA Cup ( ms, Piala FA) is an annual national knock-out football tournament in Malaysia. The cup was first held in 1990. The competition was previously managed by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), before being transferred to Football Malaysia LLP (MFL) (now known as Malaysian Football League) in the 2016 season. The cup is contested among the clubs from the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Premier League, Malaysia M3 League and Malaysia M4 League. The preliminary and first rounds are played between the clubs that qualified from the M3 and M4 League. The winners advance to the second round and join the rest of the clubs. The winners of the competition are awarded with a slot to compete in the AFC Cup. The current title holders are Johor Darul Ta'zim, which won their second title in the 2022 edition. The Malaysia Super League ( ms, Liga Super Malaysia) is the men's top professional football division of the Malaysian football league system.
