Shahrokh Moshkin Ghalam
Shahrokh Moshkin Ghalam or Shahrokh Moshkinghalam ( fa, شاهرخ مشکین‌قلم, Šâhrukh Muškîn-Qalam; born April 21, 1967, in Khorramshahr) is an Iranian modern dancer who lives and works in Paris. A graduate in history of art and theatre from the Paris 8 University, he is a choreographer, actor and director. He is also the founder and former artistic director of Nakissa Art Company. He is the first Iranian to be part of the prestigious Comédie-Française troupe. Style He was born In Iran but moved to Paris in his early teens. Performed works In 2002 the Royal Opera House of Covent Garden invited him to perform ''Seven Pavilion Ballet'' based on the works of great Persian poet Nezami. ''Dance Variations on Persian themes'' created in 2007 is his last work which is a collection of his best choreographies performed with Karine Gonzales the major dancer of his company. Khorramshahr
Khorramshahr ( fa, خرمشهر , also romanized as ''Khurramshahr'', ar, المØمرة, romanized as ''Al-Muhammerah'') is a city and capital of Khorramshahr County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2016 census, its population was 170,976, in 47,380 households. Khorramshahr is an inland port city located approximately north of Abadan. The city extends to the right bank of the Shatt Al Arab waterway near its confluence with the Haffar arm of the Karun river. The city was destroyed in the Iran–Iraq War, with the 1986 census recording a population of zero. However, Khorramshahr was rebuilt after the war, and more recent censuses show that the population has returned to its approximate pre-war level. Cyrano De Bergerac (play)
''Cyrano de Bergerac'' is a play written in 1897 by Edmond Rostand. There was a real Cyrano de Bergerac, and the play is a fictionalisation following the broad outlines of his life. The entire play is written in verse, in rhyming couplets of twelve syllables per line, very close to the classical alexandrine form, but the verses sometimes lack a caesura. It is also meticulously researched, down to the names of the members of the Académie française and the ''dames précieuses'' glimpsed before the performance in the first scene. The play has been translated and performed many times, and it is responsible for introducing the word ''panache'' into the English language. The character of Cyrano himself makes reference to "my panache" in the play. The most famous English translations are those by Brian Hooker, Anthony Burgess, and Louis Untermeyer.
