Shahpura Assembly constituency is one of constituencies of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in the Jaipur Rural (Lok Sabha constituency) in India. Shahpura constituency covers all voters from Shahpura tehsil excluding Chhapra Khurd, Nathawala, Rampura and Saiwar of ILRC Shahpura and part of Chomu tehsil, which includes Amarpura, Khejroli, Nangal Koju, Niwana, Tigariya and Nangal Bharda of ILRC Khejroli. 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Election
The Indian National Congress became the single largest party with 100 seats, short of majority by 1 seat. The Bharatiya Janata Party won 73 seats, much lower compared to the previous election in which it won an absolute majority of 163 seats.
