Shahid Shafaat
Shahid Shafaat () is a Pakistani director, writer, producer and actor who works in television, film and theatre. Mostly known for his work as a director, Shafaat started his on-screen career in the early 2000s and directed more than 10 television plays. He received Lux Style Award nomination as a Best TV Director for ''Dil Mom Ka Diya''. Career Shafaat started his career in theatre. He directed several plays, most notably ''Main Adakara Banu Gi''. He directed the series ''Kaafir (Pakistani TV series), Kaafir'' in 2012, which received critical praise, but was a commercial failure. In 2016, he directed Next Level Entertainment's production, ''Khuda Mera Bhi Hai''. The series received critical acclaim. In 2018, he directed ''Khasara,'' which was a commercial success. Lux Style Award
The Lux Style Awards is an award ceremony held annually in Pakistan since 2002. The awards celebrate "style" in the Pakistani entertainment industry, and it is the oldest event dedicated to cinema, television, fashion, music and film industry in Pakistan. Categories have changed over the years, but most are awarded by panels of judges who are experts in the respective industries, with some "people's choice" awards in the film and TV categories. The ceremonies, which are televised, have usually been held in Karachi, but in some years have taken place in Lahore, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai. ''Tau Dil Ka Kia Hua'' ( So What Happened to the Heart) is a Pakistani television series aired on 2 July 2017 on Hum TV replacing Sammi. It stars an ensemble cast including Zahid Ahmed, Sami Khan, Ayeza Khan, Mansha Pasha, Imran Ashraf and Hajra Yamin in leads. The series ended on 18 February 2018. ''Bakhtawar'' () is a Pakistani drama television series directed by Shahid Shafaat and first broadcast on Hum TV from 17 July 2022. It is produced by Momina Duraid under banner MD Productions. It features Yumna Zaidi in the titular role as a young headstrong girl who wants escape from her difficulties and create a better tomorrow for herself. Plot Lives in a small village, Bakhtawar is an ambitious student living in a family having mother, a disabled brother, and a sister. Her gambler father forcefully sends her older sister in a forced marriage, and himself goes leaving the house. Hum TV is a 24-hour Urdu General Entertainment TV channel based in Karachi, Pakistan. It was founded by Sultana Siddiqui and Duraid Qureshi.
