Shahbulat Shamhalaev (russian: Шахбулат Шамхалаев; born August 27, 1983) is a Russian retired mixed martial artist and kickboxer of Dargin heritage. He competed in the featherweight division for the Bellator Fighting Championships. Shahbulat is Muay Thai World Champion and Muay Thai Republic of Dagestan Champion. Mixed martial arts career Early career On November 3, 2009, at the M-1 Challenge – 2009 Selections event, Shamhalaev lost to the future UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov via submission (armbar) in the first round. Before leaving for the United States, he had a record of 9–1–1. Bellator MMA In 2012, Shamhalaev started training in Team BombSquad with Pat Bennett, Mike Massenzio, John Franchi, Anthony Leone and Kenny Foster. Radley Martinez (born March 12, 1978) is retired American mixed martial artist. He was signed with Bellator Fighting Championships, where he competed in their featherweight division. Amateur Wrestling Career Martinez was a standout wrestler in college, competing for Clarion University. While at Clarion, Martinez qualified for the NCAA championships on three occasions. As a sophomore in 2001 with a fourth-place finish at the EWL(Eastern Wrestling League) championships, in 2002 with a second-place finish at the EWL championships and in 2003 with a third-place finish at the EWL championships. Michael Richman (born June 23, 1985) is an American mixed martial artist currently competing in the Lightweight division of the Legacy Fighting Alliance. Kenny Foster (born June 16, 1985) is an American mixed martial artist. A professional mixed martial artist since 2009, Foster has competed for Bellator, holding a record of 3–6 with the promotion. Anthony Leone (born May 27, 1987) is an American professional mixed martial artist who most recently competed in the Bantamweight division. A professional competitor since 2008, he has competed for Strikeforce, the WEC, Bellator MMA, and Absolute Championship Berkut.
